BLU DANCEBAR AND BOYSTOWN OPENS!

The Boystown sim opened on Wednesday night to huge crowds of over 60 during DJ Shepherd's set from 6-8 and DJ Adham rocked the house from a little after 8 till 10. Everyone had a great time and explored the new sim. The party rocked with all the go go boys dancing and lots of the old regulars were there as well as new friends. So many people were there it would not be possible to mention them all. So here's a few pictures of the terrific opening.

BOYSTOWN REOPENS!

Boystown will be opening on 8th April at 5pm SL time. We got a sneek peek at the new sim and it is spectacular with special builds everywhere you look. The new BLU Dancebar looks fantatastic and the new club, Weekend, is really very special.

The attention to detail is evident everywhere you look. A special reopening party is scheduled for Wednesday, 8th April, from 6-10 with DJ Shepherd on from 6-8 and DJ Adham on from 8-10. The regular schedule will be DJ Shepherd from 6-8 Tuesdays and Thursdays and DJ Adham 8-10 Mondays and Wednesdays with DJ Rocket doing Cody and Billy's Beach Party at Boystown Beach on Sundays from 630-9.

The crowd of over 60 this past Sunday, one of the most popular beach parties, celebrated at the temporary location, as everyone was promised that this would be the last beach party in the temporary location. Cody and DJ Rocket hosted a party that raised the money to buy a new sim for Boystown when the old location was forced to close down. The Rapture Organization contributed over 25,000 lindens alone and at the party, in Cody's apartment, with the roof blown off of it, we raised over 300,000 lindens.

The new Boystown Beach area is incredible with a beach shower that is probably the best water we have ever seen in Second Life. Above, the crowd at the temporary location, celebrates the final beach party at the temp sim with hosts Cody Bolero and Billy Blaylock with DJ Rocket spinning the music.

Sky Ranch - Best in Feathers

Feathers in the Sky!

DJ Rocket deejayed the Best in Feathers night at the new Sky Ranch recently. brett Fargis won the contest with 2,500 in prizes. Lots of hotties attended including BLU go go boys Cody Bolero and Nicholas Patrono both of whom looked particularly hot in their feathered outfits.

The all new Sky is looking spectacular with great views of the universe. The lighting effects are terrific. They also will be expanding their parties to have a house DJ from 7-8, and the featured deejays from 8-10 for your partying pleasure. DJ Rocket can be heard regularly at the Sky on Wednesdays.

Grand Opening of Emerald a Huge Success

Details to follow but the grand opening was a huge hit starting off with DJ Bren Betts from 4-6 on Friday, 20 March, followed by DJ Rocket Jefferson from 6-8, DJ Aeschylus Shepherd from 8-10 and DJ Dextrum Boucher from 10 to past 12!

The sim was at capacity much of the night and many people were not able to TP in. 80 people were active during much of the night and a lot of money was won in the sploders which were spiked with 120,000 lindens.

Grand Opening of Emerald

Emerald Grand Opening!!

Friday March 20 th 4pm SLT -12 am SLT

The grand opening event of Emerald, a new club, is scheduled for Friday, March 20, from 4pm to 12am.

The DJ lineup is as follows:

DJ Bren Betts 4pm-6 pm
DJ Rocket 6pm -8pm
DJ Shepherd 8 pm -10pm
DJ Dex 10pm -12am

There will be over 120,000 lindens in cash and random prizes including 15,000 sploders each and every hour. There will also be freebies at the entrance for everyone who visits. The club also promises sexy dancers all night long too.

Sky Ranch soon moves to Third Generation

I got a sneek peek of what is to become the new Sky Ranch tonight by Thorn Andel who showed me around the new location. His intent is to unveil the new location and design next week sometime. This will be the third version of the club and promises some spectacular things which I won't reveal just yet. A lot of very cool and new things are being incorporated into the sim. Thorn mentioned that it likely will open next Wednesday but plans are still being formed. Stay tuned for more details.

St. Patrick's Day at BLU Dancebar

ST. PATRICK'S DAY AT O'BLU

The BLU Dancebar became O'Blu for the St. Patrick's Day party on Tuesday with DJ Shepherd. The green came out and the guys looked great.

The hot music pumped for two hours from DJ Shepherd as the go go boys Suti and Cody worked it for the appreciative crowd. Everyone had a great time, despite some early TP problems. The guys included Asasell Lassally, PetiPix Cascarino, Willa Mayo, Keebo Kidd, Zachariah Braveheart, Zain Bluebird, mtd1952 Timeless, Fire Hellmann and Aeolus Theas.

Keebo and Ricco looked great dancing together with Keebo wearing his shamrock. MasterSim Slade was there too and we had a good chat about a new club Emerald that will be opening on Friday March 20th with an 8 hour opening featuring DJ Bren Betts starting at 4pm followed by DJ Rocket, DJ Shepherd and DJ Dex. Ryann Quan looked terrific in his outfit and if there was a costume contest he would have won.

Cody and Billy's Sunday Night Beach Party with DJ Rocket

For those who came to this spectacular Sunday night regular event, you'll know that we crashed the sim at Alcyone. About forty people crammed the beach there for some hot music and socializing with good friends and to celebrate Vanyel Dreamscape's rez day.

Less than an hour into the set, the sim crashed and we had to relocate the party and we (Rocket Jefferson and Aeschylus Shepherd) were happy to route everyone over to Club Rapture where we partied for another almost two hours with about forty people throughout the night.

Cody and Billy had a great time dancing and chatting. Vanyel had a lot of his friends come in to help him celebrate his rez day. The partiers included Surfboy, Cris, fire, Brock, KevinM, Leslie, Rich, Jordan, Davec, Richardw, Wildchild424, Talan, Adam, Imur, Liam, MasterSim, RobnHood, Travis, Zim, Tyler, Buck, Requiem, robin, derF, JIAN, Ransom, Cole, Frolic, Ulyth, Ceserol, Brutal and so many more.

The night was a lot of fun and everyone had a great time despite crashing the sim and relocating.

A NIGHT IN HAVANA

HAVANA, the newest casual clothing store for men in Second Life, opened its doors at The Gayborhood and celebrates its launching with a A Night In Havana - a big party with DJ Rocket at the Hidden Door Club in The Gayborhood, Tremenitza (127, 201,86) , on Saturday, March 7 from 7 - 9 pm. We will be greeting everyone with a free gift and will also have some of our clothes to be awarded randomly. Come celebrate with us!

HAVANA is a new concept in casual clothing for men in Second Life. Simple and sophisticated, HAVANA's designs are based on clean drawings combined with audacious colors aimed at expressing fresh and casual relaxed style.

This season, HAVANA opened its doors at The Gayborhood and released a variety of products that can be bought as single items or in multi-color packs. Many items are also available as complete outfits.

"The DARE COLLEZIONI is a color experience. Our objective was to create outfits that would combine different light tones in an unusual but tastful, classy way", designer Ricco Saenz explains. A complete DARE outfit is composed of a zippered Coat, a long sleeve buttoned Shirt with prim collars and cuffs, and colored Pants. All items are sold separatedly, but HAVANA also has some complete sets for its customers.
Besides the DARE COLLEZIONI, HAVANA brings other products. "The CARIBE SHIRT tends to be one of our most successful items" says Keebo Kidd, HAVANA's Chief Executive. "Ricco created a shirt based on straight lines and deep colors, to be worn partially unbottoned", Keebo adds.

The KIMONO JACKET is inspired by traditional kimonos, to which Ricco added a touch of modernity. It is designed in a way that does not hide the shirt under it. If worn with no shirt, nonetheless, it turns into a sensual, seductive jacket.

The SANTIAGO, for its turn, is a leather buttoned jacket that comes in different colors. It is specially designed for those occasions when one wants to dress classily but not formally.
HAVANA also offers a PANAMA HAT which goes well with manny different outfits.

BLU Dancebar, Sky Ranch, Club Uthoriea - Party wrapup!

BLU Dancebar was hopping on Thursday with a very large crowd, still in its temporary location, but owner Adham DeCuir showed up to let everyone know there is good progress being made and homes will be available soon. DJ Shepherd rocked the crowd for over two hours. Jimmy Warbaum introduced his new boyfriend to me, Leandrox2 Levy, who was perfectly charming. The go go boys, Nicholas and CJ (Christopher James) spent a lot of time entertaining the crowd and were as congenial as they always are.

Other party goers that night included Billy Blaylock, JIAN Kranfel, Jared Coleman and Kane Maruti. Superguy Robbiani showed up as did Jeffry Woodford and Dusten Parfort. Frolic Mills stopped by and looked terrific in his hot white outfit. Anjey Amat was dancing for a while and we decided to go to his set later that night at the Sky Ranch. Everyone had a terrific time and the dance floor was packed most of the night.

Later we went to Sky Ranch where DJ Anjey was spinning and ran into a lot of friends there later Thursday night. The always friendly staff was there and Tadd Rives, Miguel Harsley and gang we ran into friends, including Nolan Ellisson, Graydirk Enoch, and DJ Anjey was there of course. We managed to catch the end of the set which was very good and featured some good mashups from Anjey.

Friday night saw a big crowd at the new Uthoriea, Alic White's club, with DJ Rocket, and lots of good friends showed up and partied for a good two hours. Friday nights have become the night for guest Deejays at Uthoriea. The theme of the night was Bad Boyz and Bad Gurlz. DJ Adham DeCuir. owner of Boystown, spent a lot of time dancing with Tyler Ethaniel and Suti Capalini popped in as well as Cody Bolero. Divos Titanium, Jaylin Tigerpaw, Miguel Harsley along with Danny Alderton were dancing most of the night away to the tunes of DJ Rocket.

Rylan Sirnah was the dancer that night and the contest for Best Bad Boy was won by Wesley Witrial who won 1000 Lindens. Our good friends Alic White and Wesley Witrial got engaged on Valentine's Day. I also ran into my friend Brett Fargis who was there and is working on a great article for Rapture Online. In all the Uthoriea event was a huge success with lots of fun had by the crowd.

Our friend Nicholas Patrono had a party Friday night which, unfortunately we weren't able to attend but we look forward to popping on that real soon.

Havana Store Opens!

Havana Store by Ricco and Keebo Opens

I have been following the progress of Ricco and Keebo's endevors and they have culminated in the opening of Havana by Ricco Saenz and Keebo Kidd in the Gayborhood located in the sim Tremenitza. The store features the designs of Ricco and has some very Cuban inspired outfits in very hot colours that I have seen in RL in some fashion stores recently.

There is the DARE collezioni that mixes and matches very well. There are multiple combinations of shirts and pants and the vendor boards are easy to use and feature excellent photography of the clothing.

The store freebie (1 linden) is a nice ripped tank top that Ricco designed. There is also a hat accessory including a Cuban-inspired hat. The items can be bought on http://www.xlstreet.com/ and they have a website at http://www.havanaoriginals.com/ Our model tried on one of the Dare outfits and I must say it did look extremely good.

Have a hop over to the store. They will be adding more inventory. Until then, there is plenty to shop for and with spring around the corner the Dare collection is bound to be extremely popular.

House party at Bacchus Ireto's home

Bacchus Ireto's House Party a huge success!

Bacchus Ireto held a house warming party at his new home and was attended by lots of friends with DJ Rocket playing tunes on Wednesday from 7 to about 915. The party, held on his deck that was decorated for the party was a great success with lots of guys (and girls) popping by to congratulate him on his new home.

Guests included Kane Maruti and Jared Coleman along with Cole Delpiaz, Billy Blaylock, Cris Kahane, Theron Mexicola and others. Some of the guys ended up in the pool at the end of the night just when Elf Juran and Khorus Magne of Elixir popped by. They had just finished putting the final touches on the new line of men's underwear at Elixir and were looking to party.

Everyone was remembering the good old days of being a noob and several guys mentioned some of the old clubs and everyone shared a laugh about Tristar. The music cranked all night and a new version of Ain't Nothin' Goin' on but the Rent by 7th Heaven really seemed to get the crowd whipped up.

Bacchus had a great time and was glad to welcome old friends and meet a lot of new ones.

Elixir Fashions Update by Rocket Jefferson

Rocket gets the "Rockit" outfit

I ran over to the Elixir Fashion Primary compound at Fantasy Island and happened to run into my friend Khorus Magne, who is the designer of all the Elixir product. She really has a talent for latex and rubber. We had a nice little chat about stuff and I told her I was snooping around just working on a story.

She said she was working on a new line of men's underwear and that it would be ready tonight. I took the opportunity to prowl around the fairly recently re-designed store that now has a Boys department in the back. I got a pair of the new men's jammies and they are really incredible. Then I had to grab the "Rockit" outfit and I must say it is a nice versatile set. I put on the "Rockit" set in black with red trim. You can see it in the photo here. It is also available in several other color combinations including red and white.

Mens Jammies are a must for Rocket

I purchased the new release jammies a couple of weeks ago when they were first released. The story I got is that my friend Daniell Breda kept asking Khorus to make men's jammies and she finally caved into him. I'm so glad because I absolutely love them. The "maps" jammies was my favourite so I snapped a picture of those in front of the store display. There are three other designes including "Circuits," "Van Gogh" and "Flash."

Bottom line is that if you are looking for something that is high quality and quite different, Elixir is the place to be. They are also big supporters of the SL music scene and recently sponsored a Nine Inch Nails event.

BLU Dancebar

The crowd rocked at the temporary location of the BLU Dancebar Tuesday night to the tunes of DJ Shepherd, who played some hot music from Beyonce that was new amongst others.

The crowd danced with the hot go go boys Cody Bolero and Suti Capalini and included Travis Velde, Zann Baxton, Audrina Carfagno and Adham DeCuir, the Boystown Mayor who was taking a break from finishing the new Boystown sim.

Suti talked about his new tongue ring that he bought with his first paycheck. Audrina reported she dumped her Greek boyfriend from Queens in favor for a "hot Italian" from elsewhere in Long Island.

Keebo Kidd was hanging out dancing up a storm while his other half, Nicco was still on vacation. Nicco has some great new product on XStreetSL.com under the name Keebo Kidd. In all, everyone moved their bodies and had a great digital workout and DJ Adham appears tomorrow at 8 SL time at the temporary location of the BLU Dancebar.

Cody's Sunday Night Beach Party

We held Cody's Sunday Night Beach Party at a temporary location at Rapture Beach and we had well over 60 guys attend, including two women, Dar Writer and Rain Nickolaidis. Lots of fun was had and I deejayed for over two hours.

Some of the regulars included Jamie Flintlock and his partner KevinM Vollmar. The recently married Wettham Lane and Brandon Baily showed up before their honeymoon. Kane Maruti and Jarad Coleman danced and partied as usual. These guys are lots of fun, as anyone who knows them will attest.

DJ Shepherd also joined us and danced to the tunes. Rain quickly came up with her new theme song, which I played, called "Looking for Men" by Rosabel featuring Tamara Wallace. The Wayne G Re-edit mix was what I selected to play.

Theron Mexicola wanted a song played for his ex and I selected "Drop A House," by DJ DeMarko featuring Heather Leigh West (Razor & Guido Mix) with the inspiration being the house dropped on the wicked witch in the Wizard of Oz.

Everyone had a great time, and chief party boy Cody Bolero, had to bow out early since he had to get up very early in real life. Everyone had a great time and truly appreciates Cody's party since it is such a good time to just have fun with lots of good friends.

RUNWAY FASHION WEEK

Bryant Park, Second Life - RUNWAY Magazine, the number one fashion magazine in Second Life, will host it's first Fashion Week. This week of fashion shows will feature a broad range of fashion designers including couture, formal, causal, swimwear and more. Shows will begin on February 13 and run through February 20. A total of 35 designers will be represented in Fashion Week 2009 in 4 - 5 shows daily, beginning at 1 pm PST at RUNWAYs main sim, Bryant Park, in Second Life. In addition to the fashion shows, many of the participating designers will have on-site boutiques, offering designs seen in their shows and there will be gifts offered to attendees by many of the designers.

RUNWAY Magazine will co-sponsor the event with MaxMoney, a newly launched in-world money exchange venture by virtual world entrepreneur, Maximillian March of Max March Industries, Fabulous Fashion, a popular SLCN.TV weekly fashion talk show, hosted by Angie Mornington, and metaLIFE, the creators of a global platform that will connect and empower people worldwide and foster social interactions within virtual worlds.

RAPTURE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTS BOYSTOWN

The Rapture Organization rapidly worked toward a solution to the announcement of closing the Boystown sim and was happy to be part of the success of raising money toward the goal of rebuilding Boystown.

Rapture DJ and PR man Rocket Jefferson usually deejays Cody Bolero's Sunday Beach Party which was hosted this time in his apartment on 25 Jan. DJ Rocket worked the crowd for donations and the crowd overwhelmingly supported the goal and broke the thermometer less than two hours into the set.

Rapture CEO Aeschylus Shepherd did a double deejay event for the closing of BLU on Monday along with DJ Adham and Boystown Mayor. The party turned into a celebration of the prior night's fundraiser coordinated by Cody and Rocket.

The final event was the street party and Go Go Boys auction which further contributed to the future tier of the new Boystown. DJ Shepherd whipped the crowd up with some great tunes and DJ Adham handled the auction followed by more DJ Shepherd and the party continued.

In all, the Rapture Organization donated over 25,000 Lindens directly to the rebuilding of Boystown and we hope played a significant part in helping to raise the full amount through the various events that involved DJ Rocket and DJ Shepherd.
